Trevey Commercial Real Estate was recently featured in The Parker Chronicle for its integral role in advancing commercial development at the southeast corner of Stroh Road and Crowfoot Valley Road in Parker, Colorado.
The nearly 33-acre mixed-use site, annexed into the Town of Parker in 2023, is designed to serve as a neighborhood center that blends residential and commercial uses. While the multifamily portion of the project is already underway, Trevey has been actively marketing the eight-acre commercial component since 2024 and working closely with developers and town leadership to address market-driven challenges impacting commercial feasibility.
As noted in the article, economic conditions such as higher interest rates, rising construction costs, and restrictive timing requirements have slowed commercial development across the region. Trevey Commercial Real Estate, alongside AvalonBay Communities, supported amendments to the Planned Development Guide that were unanimously approved by Parker Town Council. These changes are intended to allow market demand — rather than rigid timelines — to drive development and increase the likelihood of neighborhood-serving uses.
Mitch Trevey emphasized the importance of flexibility in today’s market, noting that demand for multi-tenant commercial space will naturally follow as residential density and activity increase. The approved amendments also expand opportunities for restaurants, service businesses, medical and dental users, daycare facilities, and select drive-through uses — all designed to better serve the surrounding community.
Trevey Commercial is proud to be a major player in shaping this development and helping create a walkable, vibrant neighborhood center that supports Parker’s continued growth.
